2014!!!!!

Hello! I've been terrible at blogging this past fall. But really, a lot of things have been happening! Or actually, things were set into motion that will be happening this year. I got a promotion! Raygun is opening a store in the Crossroads Art District of Kansas City, MO at the end of March, and I will be heading down there to co-manage (with my fellow RYG/DSM coworker Suzanne) and do some buying! I'm beyond excited. I will be going to MAGIC (no, not The Gathering) in February with our other buyer Lucy to find some new brands to bring in specifically to RYG/KC! In March I will move, and I won't be alone.....my bf has agreed to leave East Coast to move back to the Midwest to live with me. We've been long distance for about 2 years, so it's a relief to finally end that chapter of our relationship.

Sooooo, that's what's been going on with me. Or what will be going on with me.

vine wednesday: raygun edition

P.S. If you want your hot bitch to wear one of those cute shirts (or the any of the other designs we have for pooch's) you can get 'em here! We've got shirts to accomodate dogs of all sizes, and even some small enough to fit a cat, if that's your pet of choice.

see you soon, jen

My good friend and coworker Jen and her husband Tim are embarking on a great adventure on Tuesday. They will be leaving Iowa and traveling throughout South America for a few months, and then they'll be off to England to put down some roots. Jen is an artist, a hippie, a cat lover, and an all around lovely person (among many other things), and I will miss her a lot! But I know she and Tim will have an amazing time traveling and saving the world, probably, and I'm excited to see where life takes them. Jen has a blog that she will be updating (when possible) while she's in South America, you can follow their journey too if you'd like :) Transmute and Twirl

Here are a few pictures from Jen and Tim's going away party, as well as Jen's last day at RAYGUN.

Lucy, John, and Blake did a great job streamering the place.

I made her sit on my lap for this picture.

Suzanne's husband Keith just happened to stop by the store, & just happened to be wearing the same shirt as me.  We tried to make an American flag with Jen in the middle.

The gals of Raygun, one last time :(

can't stop, won't stop

This week...let me tell you....

Yesterday I got a raise.

Today Adam Scott and Rashida Jones came into Raygun and bought some shirts. I talked to them and tried my best to keep it cool, but really I just wanted to scream and take a million pictures of/with them! This is how I felt when I first saw that they were in the store:

And this is how I was after they left:

Also today, the Cyclones beat the Hawkeyes, in the infamous CyHawk showdown! So proud to be a Cyclone!
